The Learning Journey Day Nursery has 2 sensory areas. The sensory areas are there to further develop a child’s 5 senses through special lighting, music and objects.

Sensory equipment can help develop key life skills including vocalisation, gross motor skills, colour recognition and tracking. The nursery believes each and every child will benefit from using the sensory rooms and we also believe it can be used as a calming environment, for example, a child who may be frustrated or upset.
