The Learning Journey Day Nursery believes that providing an opportunity for parents/carers to take part in activities outside of the home with their children will assist in the overall learning and developing of a child.

Not only will the experience alone enhance the child’s learning, we can provide important information for parents on the importance of home learning and the difference it will make to a child’s achievement.

Saturday sessions will always have a focus group in mind:

• Dad’s/Male carer sessions
• Grandparent sessions
• Multiple birth group sessions
• Young Parent sessions
• General Stay and Play sessions

The sessions will always be open for working parents as we understand the demands of work life and accept the fact that many parent sessions are during the day when working parents aren’t able to access them.
