Our dedicated team who work closely alongside the preschool team follow the EYFS and ensure a balance between play and learning, as inquisitive minds begin to grow further and absorb knowledge through everything they do.

The relationship the rising 3s and preschool have is something special, so that each age group may have their own space in which to do dedicated activities which are specifically designed for each ability but also work in partnership in free play time and playtime, allowing for children to interact and engage in new relationships naturally.

We encourage activeness in both a physical and mental sense, with children beginning to able to activate choice and tackle daily tasks with ease, be this self-serving, personal hygiene or responsibility for possessions. All aspects of daily life are broken down into manageable steps in this room, with smaller groups to ready your child for preschool and the ‘school like setting’ and to smoothly transition them from the Toddler suites.

We endeavour to encourage expanding minds to develop further in an educational setting with friendly staff, but clear safe limits so that your child’s confidence and independence grows and their learning journey excels, readying them for preschool and beyond.

The children are able to take lessons inside and outside to stimulate learning through different environments to encourage a new sense of growing independence and exciting new skills to learn.

Before they are ready to leave our rising 3s room, every child is confident in self-registration, recognition of belongings and pride in looking after them, engaging in all activities and understanding the basics of classroom life ready to make a big splash into preschool and wear a uniform with pride.
