Free early learning (Time for twos) places for some eligible two year olds

Some two year olds maybe able to access a free, early learning place in the term after their second birthday if they meet the government’s eligibility criteria. This is known as Time for twos in Dudley.
The eligibility criteria:
Children whose parents meet the Benefits/ Free School Meal criteria
From September 2014 working parents whose income falls below £16,190.
Children who have special educational needs or disabilities
Children who are Looked After by the Local Authority

This free early learning place runs for three terms until the child moves in to their free early education place in the term after their third birthday.
